I purchased the 10.5" for myself a few month back after getting the Santoku for my wife. This knife is great. Although I don't mind a heavy knife, it was refreshing to feel how light it actually is compared to my 8 in. european chef knife. What I love about the Togiharu is the thin profile and the edge, it is extremely sharp and just glides through foods effortlessly. It has retained its edge well, since purchasing it has only required a few passes on the stones.

The grip is very comfortable and well balanced. The Togiharu is a great value for us "serious" home cooks.
