"Takoyaki, Japanese octopus fritters, are a favorite street food in Osaka, made with a flour, egg and dashi batter, octopus, pickled ginger, and scallion. The variations in their preparation are endless, including condiments like okonomiyaki sauce, mayonnaise and katsuobushi (fish shavings). To prepare, heat this durable cast iron pan over medium-high heat, add oil and batter, then add the octopus and other ingredients. After a minute or two, flip with a pick and cook until nicely browned. A fun and surprising snack, first course or side dish for any meal, any occasion.

* Cast iron pan used to make takoyaki, everyone's favorite octopus treat
* Recesses: 1.75"" Dia. "
